How Rift Proxy pricing works
Rift Proxy uses a single, transparent pricing model: you pay per gigabyte of bandwidth across two SOCKS5 datacenter pools. There are no monthly seat fees, no per-IP surcharges, no hidden overage rates and no subscription. Pick the tier that matches your workload, buy credits, and they sit in the rift until you spend them. Every new account gets 1 GB free to test, and bandwidth credits never expire within 90 days of purchase.
SOCKS5 Budget — $0.50/GB
The Budget tier pulls from an aggregated, multi-source datacenter pool and is our cheapest option at $0.50 per gigabyte. It exposes SOCKS5 plus HTTP and HTTPS CONNECT, supports sticky sessions and per-request rotation, and automatically cools down dead exits so a flaky IP never stalls your run. It's the right tier for testing, cost-sensitive bulk crawling of catalogs and public APIs, price monitoring, and any workload on low-to-mid-defence targets where throughput and cost beat stealth.
SOCKS5 Premium — $1.00/GB
The Premium tier is a curated, authenticated datacenter pool at $1.00 per gigabyte. Same SOCKS5 + HTTP/HTTPS CONNECT endpoint, but with cleaner IP reputation, higher uptime and a 5-minute dead-IP cooldown. Reach for Premium on sustained production crawls, Shopify and Footsites cart races where low latency wins, and anywhere a bad exit would cost you. Both tiers are datacenter SOCKS5 — they are a poor fit for sites running aggressive bot management such as Cloudflare Bot Management or DataDome, which need a residential network. We don't sell residential, and we'd rather say so than oversell a datacenter pool.

Every new account is credited 1 GB on the SOCKS5 Budget tier the moment you sign up, no card required. Generate credentials, route a real workload through the gateway, and confirm it fits your use case before spending anything. There's no trial timer — the gigabyte simply sits in your balance until you use it.
Billing, payment and volume pricing
Top-ups are billed once — no recurring charges. Payment is crypto via NowPayments (BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, XMR, LTC and more); your balance is credited automatically the moment the network confirms. Unused bandwidth credits stay in your account for 90 days and stack on top of any existing balance. We do not offer refunds on consumed bandwidth.
